"Black Church Cult" was the first complete song ever written by A. and was recorded several times since 2003. This recording happened in 2007 due the "In Bloodline With The Snake" session. It was meant to be on the record, but spontaneously we decided to replace it through "To Harvest The Madness Of Satan". Black Church Cult shall be part of one of our upcoming releases, but in a different shape.

"Snakepit Madness" originated in a "Ave Maria" rehearsal back in 2005 but turned out to be more fitting for the agenda of Chaos Invocation. This recording manifested in our templum in late 2009 and points out that Sumerian vibes have been part of our journey even before the release of Saatet – Ta Apep. Another track from that recording session is "The Preaching Breath Of Sheol". Vocals on TPBPS were spawned by A. a couple of months later.

In early 2010 Regain Records offered us a deal for a split Ep release with the mighty Unanimated. Fueled by this obviously great opportunity, "Beyond Coming" was written within few hours. We entered Hellsound Studio in April the same year, but Regain Records died few months later and the split never happened.

"A Focus On Splendour" was the first song written after the "Black Mirror Hours" sessions. Focus joins a pool of almost twenty songs that didn't end up on one of the three Chaos Invocation albums.
